Description

A hugely practical and highly effective online short course where, with no more than five other delegates, you’ll learn how to: stay in control of media interviews; discover techniques to focus on your key messages instead of worrying too much about the questions you’re asked; and find ways to deliver those messages in a clear, concise and compelling manner.  All without sounding like a slippery politician!

This live-faciliated three hour online short course is led by the former BBC broadcaster, Richard Uridge. He’s been leading our media and communication workshops for the past 25 years and has been a journalist for nearly 40. Which means he’s highly experienced (as well as ancient) both as a trainer and as a broadcaster – a combination of huge value to his trainees. By the end of this highly practical session you’ll know how to say what you want to say to the audience without being steered by the questions. And you’ll be much more confident next time you’re being interviewed for real – whether you’re delivering good or bad news.

  1. Peter

As usual, Richard was an enjoyable person to work with, covered the subject well and helped make it a worthwhile workshop to attend.

  2. Mariam

Thoroughly enjoyed the training and definitely felt more confident at the end of the day.

  3. Sarah

excellent course, dont do it if you want a relaxing day! Well thought out realistic scenarios, taxing but enjoyable!!

  4. Richard

It was a very useful session – if I could change on thing it would be to have a second chance ‘on camera’ at the end of the course to put all of the advice together. As one of the people who went early I didn’t get chance to try out / get feedback on the more subtle techniques.

  5. Richard

The course was excellent and very effective. It is great to be able to go away with a simple to manage approach and highly usable toolkit that I can rely on for the future. Thank you.
